The Fall can be the best time to go to the rain forest,as everything is lush and at its
best. With the leaves turning color the forestland is full of  different colors and

During the winter Hurricane Ridge is open Fri-Sun only. Snow is deep (130"). It's
hard telling when Spring will arrive and the avalanche lilies will be blooming. When

Walla Walla Wine Tour

Elwha Dam Removal Tour
The largest dam removal project in the history of the US is underway. We ofer a
four hour excurssion that explores the river and incredible changes that are taking
place as the river returns to its original free flowing state. We will visit the old dam
sites, old reservoir, and mouth of the Elwha River. Learn the history of the dams
and the significance of their construction and removal. Price is $49 per person.

APCT is offering tours
of the Christmas lights
in Port Angeles now
through Dec. 28 with
one tour each night
starting at 6:30 p.m.
There will be two tours
Christmas Eve at 6
p.m. and 8 p.m. and
none on Christmas Day.
The tours depart from
the Safeway parking lot
on 3rd Street. The
price is $7.50 for adults
13 and older, $3.75 for
children 6 to 12 and
free for under 6.

Hurricane Ridge Shuttle

During the winter APCT
will be offering
transportation to
Hurricane Ridge every
day the Ridge is open.
We depart at 9 a.m.
and 12:30 p.m. from
the waterfront at the
Landing Mall and
return from the Ridge
at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
There is an additional
pick up at Vern Burton
Community Center at
4th Street and
Peabody. The price is
$20 for adults and $10
for children 12 and
under, under 6 free.
